Dr. Grantz joined Neuroscience & Rehabilitation Specialists following the completion of a Stroke Fellowship at the University of Utah. He completed a vascular research fellowship at the same institution. Prior to his medical career, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and subsequently taught high school in the Peace Corps in Sub-Saharan Africa.

He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the Utah Medical Association, the American Heart/Stroke Association, and the Utah State Stroke Task Force.

Dr. Grantz has served as a Visiting Instructor in Neurology at the University of Utah since 2011. He has interests in research and has published or lectured on a multitude of neurology topics including acute stroke treatment and prevention, vascular malformations, neuropathy, rapid cognitive decline and dementia, and multiple sclerosis. He serves as the Director of the Stroke Program at Jordan Valley Medical Center.

Married with 2 children, Dr. Grantz enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and rafting with his family during his free time.
