Mohammad Shoari, MD

Dr. Shoari is board certified in neurology. He completed his fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology with focus on nerve and muscle disorders, botulinum toxin injections and seizure disorders at University of Utah Department of Neurology. He also finished his neurology residency and served as a visiting instructor at the same department.

Dr. Shoari is pleased to offer his patients at Comprehensive Neurology of Utah the full spectrum of neurological care. His research and interest focus on neuromuscular diseases, which include disorders of the peripheral nerves and muscles (including peripheral neuropathy, neck pain, low back pain, muscle diseases, and mononeuropathies such as carpal tunnel syndrome). He provides neurological procedures including nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG), botulinum toxin injections (for spasticity, dystonia, and headache), electroencephalography (EEG), visual evoked potentials (VEP), and vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) programming.

When he's not practicing medicine, Dr. Shoari enjoys outdoor sports such as tennis and swimming, computer sciences, and music.
