Dr. Gretel K. Crison specializes in diabetic foot care, deformities of the foot and sports injuries. She completed a podiatric orthopedic and surgical residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

As a former figure skater and member of the University of Michigan marching band, and current skier and devoted kick boxer, Dr. Crison understands the need for proper equipment, shoes, and training to minimize or prevent foot injuries. She makes risk assessments to determine if an injury is a result of foot structure, training overuse or footwear and can recommend which shoes are best for patients in particular sports. A former member of the Utah Diabetes Control Programs Board, Dr. Crison conducted training for general practice doctors regarding Utah Diabetic Guidelines.
